I had heard so many good things about this place that I chose it to have Easter Brunch with my family this year. The food was incredibly salty - so much so, that the taste of the ingredients was totally masked by the salt in the dishes. The portions, for an Easter Brunch were small - I ordered Gravlaks Bagel and got 2 slices of smoked salmon on some sour cream with capers on lightly toasted sourdough (I asked for sourdough since I do not like bagels) that looked like it had been waiting on the plate for a long time . The service was average. The waiter was polite, but the food took a much too long time to come to the table and the waiter only came to let us know that the would not be long about 10 minutes before it appeared. The music was much too loud. We could not hear the person across from the table because of the noise and the bad acoustics of the place. Overall, I would not recommend this place and will not be going back to it.
I really enjoyed my time at Restoration with my family. The restaurant accommodated our large group quickly, and the service was great. The restaurant has a wide selection of great food and drinks that can cater to all tastes. My favorite is the chicken quesadillas. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody, and will come back to Restoration again.
I had my son's rehearsal dinner there on December 10th . It could not have been better. Afterwords all the guests commented how wonderful the food was. The service we received was impeccable. Also, the location is amazing. Thank you to Restoration at Old Trail for making the evening so wonderful.
Restoration is very warm & inviting. It's a perfect place to hang out with friends & family and is kid friendly! The food is delicious - I had seared ahi tuna and enjoyed it with a nice glass of wine. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend giving Restoration a try if you have any events coming up!
Having been a LONG time customer, when the new ownership came in I was disappointed to say the least. The small menu of high quality food has changed. They now have a 4+ page menu, and the food tastes as if it has been reheated, instead of made from scratch. the fried oysters use to have a delicate breading on them, and now they are soggy and thick. It is sad to see such a well know place fall down like this, but maybe in time they will work back to the higher standards.
