I began visiting the Animal Wellness Center in June of 2016. Dr. Cook helped not only my dog overcome a serious back injury and infection thought her holistic treatments but she was able to help me understand what was going on, and keep me positive through overwhelming odds. I was never a full believer in holistic treatments but when you see a dog before and after a session you can't help but rethink those beliefs. (Dogs don't lie; My dog had no idea what the needles/lasers were for but she definitely felt better afterwards). I am lucky to have achieved a positive outcome and I thank the entire team at Animal Wellness Center for treating us so well!!! Thank you beyond words!!!
Examined my dog and told me he had a heart murmur and needed two teeth pulled. They quoted me $600.00 for a regular teeth cleaning without pulling the teeth and said if the teeth did need to be pulled it would be even more! They also said my dog needed an EKG before the teeth cleaning started to make sure his heart could withstand a cleaning. I took my dog for a second opinion and found the heart murmur was very faint and only needed to be checked during the yearly exams, to make sure it didn't get worse. No EKG was needed. The teeth did not need to be pulled and the cleaning was only $219.00. I saved over $400.00 by getting a second opinion and I suggest you do the same!
My Buster cat has been with them for a couple of years. I went to them because they offer holistic as well as conventional care. It is a great combination.
